Best friends with kiddos trip
Our group was a mix of 2 familes with our kids and the space was impeccable! We have frequented IOP many times as we own a house in Wild Dunes but renovations took longer than expected so we needed a last minute house to stay in and we were blown away!! Service was quick, house was clean, kitchen was 5 star, and the view was National Geographic photo worthy! We had plenty of room for our kiddos to play and spread out and still found some peaceful solace on the patio! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in that area! Super pleased!
Beautiful special home!
9 Marsh Island is beautiful. It truly lives up to the pictures. The bedrooms are spacious and each one has its own bathroom. Plenty of space for 8 people. The view is stunning. Alec was very responsive, we had everything we needed. It’s close enough to the beach that you can walk. We will definitely stay here again!
Amazing Home!
This home was exactly what I was looking for! The views are better than the pictures! Our group spent almost all of our time on the amazing porch. Alec was so quick to respond and could not have been easier to work with. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will definitely be back!
Family Vaca
Beautiful home, stylishly renovated, gorgeous views. Love the layout of the main living area for a group of 7 and that every bedroom has its own En suite. The elevator was convenient for moving stuff in/out for the week, and for my older parents vacationing with us. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.
Sister Trip
This house is exactly as pictured and was clean. It was the perfect venue for a 3 night trip for 4 sisters. We enjoyed the house and the sunsets.
Marsh Island Sunset Perfection
I don't usually write reviews, but I was compelled to happily write this because of our experience. The house is impeccably decorated and maintained...literally nothing we would change! Newly renovated and everything appears like new. Perfect for 3-4 couples or a large family, as each bedroom has plenty of room for privacy, and the public spaces are more than adequate for indoor or outdoor gahering. Best sunset view in IOP without question...and frequent deer sightings...I'm pretty sure they were watching us and not vice versa. The ping pong table, firepit, and grill are great features that kept our high school baseball players and adults entertained...and the kitchen is Michelin star worthy! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Low country get away!!
We were celebrating my daughter's graduation from college. It was her choice of location. Selecting a house on the marsh as opposed to beach front was outstanding. Our group included three adults and three young adults all enjoying down time after college graduation. Watching the ebb and flow of the high and low tide, the wildlife including 3 majestic bucks accompanied by several does as well as alligators, was definitely God's way of entertaining us! If it is peace and serenity that you are in search of, this is the place. The walking paths throughout the community were easily accessible. There was an issue with the loss of hot water which was remedied as quickly as possible with the relentless pursuit of Alec, the property manager, calling the gas company to correct the situation.
Girls Weekend
This house is truly an amazing house! Very well stocked for the guests, incredible layout for enjoyment of guests in the main living/kitchen/dining areas! But the house as incredible as it is, is SECOND to the VIEWS! The views are AMAZING! Home was very clean when we arrived, no complicated thermostats or Smart issues. Has an elevator for those that need! Had a great time celebrating a birthday with some lifelong friends in this wonderful house!
