Holiday Festival of Lights

Nov. 15 - Dec. 31, 2024 | Daily from 5:30-10 p.m. | James Island County Park

Hosted by Charleston County Parks, this beloved Lowcountry tradition boasts over two million lights and numerous festive displays, making it an essential holiday experience. In addition to the drive-through light display, guests are invited to enjoy snacks and fun at the holiday carnival near the events center. This winter wonderland is located just a short drive from your Isle of Palms rental.

Charleston Holiday Parade of Boats

Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 | 5-8 p.m. | Charleston Harbor

Enjoy a spectacle on the water as local boats adorned with holiday decorations and sparkling lights set sail upon the Charleston Harbor. This unique parade, produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, is visible from plenty of fantastic vantage points and is perfect for visitors of all ages. Make this evening a night to remember with waterfront dining at nearby restaurants or grabbing dinner in Downtown Charleston before the show. The free parade begins in Mount Pleasant at 5 p.m. and will be viewable downtown around 7:30 p.m.
